The Casino Hold 'em is nothing but a variant of popular Texas Hold 'em. Similar to the regular holdem, this game can also be easily learnt.  The difference between the casino holdem and the Texas holdem is that in regular Texas Holdem you will play against the other players and in casino holdem you will play versus the house.

Winning Qualification

  • Beat the dealer’s hand by making use of the 2 hole cards and 5 community cards.
  • If the dealer gets beaten, you win.
  • A side bet can also be made in the casino holdem games.  The side betting is mainly done for getting dealt with a pair of aces or higher in the main five cards.

Norms for Casino Holdem

  • A single deck of 52 cards is used.
  • The player should beat the dealer to eventually win by making the best 5 card hand.
  • The dealer and the player will be using the community cards for completing the hand.

Proceeds Of The Game:

  • There is no blind betting here, the players should ante.
  • The players can also place a side bet and they can win the side bet if they get dealt with a pair of aces or higher number in the original five cards.
  • After the ante, two face up cards and two face down cards are dealt to the player.
  • 3 flop cards are dealt in the board.
  • The player can either continue to play or they can choose to fold any time they feel they will loose.  If they fold, they loose their ante.
  • If they are willing to play, they will call, by making two times the bet as the ante.
  • If the player chooses to call, then the 2 community card will be displayed.
  • After the completion of the player’s hand the cards of the dealer will be shown.
  • In order to qualify, the dealer’s hand should have 4s pair or something higher.
  • If the dealer does not qualify the player will win.
  • The ante bet will be paid as per the pay table; also the pushes (ties) of the call bet will also be pair accordingly.
  • If the dealers hand qualifies then the hands are compared and the pay out is given accordingly.
  • If the dealer has a better hand, then the player will lose his ante bet and all his call bets.
  • Even if the player looses, if they get the AA+ pay out, they will get the AA+ payout as per the pay table.  AA+ payout is nothing but the side bet placed on the happening of getting dealt with Two Aces (AA) or a higher number (+) in the original dealing, therefore called AA+.

If there is a tie between the player and the dealer, then the winner will be selected based on the kicker which was not involved in making the hand. Kicker is nothing but a card which was not used in making the final hand qualifying for winning.  The player or the dealer who has the best kicker will win.

Examples of kicker are:

  • Q/4 with the dealer
  • Q/3 with the player
  • 9/9/Q/5/2 as the community cards.
